Pak Envoy to Qatar, Chairman P@SHA Inaugurate Pakistan Pavilion At Web Summit 2024

The Pakistan Pavilion at the Web Summit 2024 in Doha, Qatar, was opened on Wednesday by Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Muhemmed Aejaz, and chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), Muhammad Zohaib Khan.

Khan revealed that 1,043 businesses from 81 different nations are taking part in the competition.

Muhemmed Aejaz expressed his happiness that over 100 Pakistani representatives were present at this important international event, noting that the Embassy of Qatar has been instrumental in fostering a conducive atmosphere for business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking.

According to Zohaib Khan, highlighting Pakistan’s creativity, talent, and potential can attract foreign direct investment (FDI), which will aid in economic growth, the creation of jobs, income, and balance of payments equilibrium.

Khan further stated that Pakistani professionals will engage with their international counterparts, sharing innovative ideas, best practices, and insights. The IT industry in Pakistan can expand faster because to this cross-fertilization of expertise, which would enable it to penetrate new markets and verticals and attract a larger clientele.

According to Chairman P@SHA, the association’s attendance at Web Summit 2024 demonstrates Pakistan’s thriving and cutting-edge digital sector. The Minister of IT and Telecom Pakistan (MoITT), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the Pakistani Embassy in Qatar, and Tech Destination Pakistan were among the prestigious partners with which he praised the collaboration.
